There are opportunities for adult Christian Education throughout the year at First Lutheran. Some of these opportunities happen during our Wednesday Night Alive! programming and some happen during the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings. We invite you to participate in any and all of these offerings and to invite a friend to come with you.

Thursday Afternoons

Join us every Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m. for a Bible study on the lessons for the coming Sunday. Our Pastor or Intern leads this class and we follow the three year cycle of the Revised Common Lectionary. Bring your lunch along with you and enjoy some time in fellowship and learning.

Sunday Mornings

Please join us each Sunday from 9:15 – 10:15 in the Gallery as Pastor Bill leads us in a discussion of a variety of topics.

Monthly Education Opportunities

Men’s Breakfast Bible Study

Men of all ages are invited to this group which meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the Gallery. We are done at 10:00 a.m. and are currently studying the book of 1 Corinthians.  

Women’s Breakfast Bible Study

The women of First Lutheran Church gather also on the 3rd Saturday of the month for a light breakfast and Bible Study together. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Sylvia.
